Looking Deeper from Different Perspectives: Pros & Cons 

INSTRUCTIONS:

1. With your team, prepare a thorough poster using Google Slides that explains what the genetic technology is, how it works, and the costs. You may wish to include videos for this portion, but it should also be explained on the poster. 
    

2. Once you have that information in hand, divide yourselves into Pro and Con partnerships.
    

3. Continue your research using the library lib guide or the links provided below OR find links of your own. Prepare the answers to the possible questions you may face. If you state that something is beneficial, be prepared to provide scientific information that explains why. If you state that something is detrimental, be prepared to provide scientific information that explains why.
    

4. Remember, at this point your goal is to convince the audience that the pros outweigh the cons (or vice-versa), so make sure you prepare rebuttals. 
    

5. Prepare for the presentation, you will add to the poster to help support your side, just make sure that both the pro and con portions are included in ONE product.
   Both sides should be prepared to speak for the debate.
